I Am The Voice~Chapter I

Chapter I
"Mama?! Papa?!" called a wolf pup looking throught out the crowded forest of fleeing wolves as the hunters shot at them. "Buttercup!!" called a female wolf's voice. Butter cup looked up to a pure white snow wolf, running up to him. "Mama!" he said, running toward her. The mother rubbed her face against her small pup. "Oh, Buttercup." she said in slight relief. "Where's papa?" he asked. The mother looked up. "Ryne?! Ryne!!" called the pup's mother. She looked around.

A hunter raised his arrow. "Ryne!!" cried the mother. All of a sudden, she fell with a thud, an arrow within her side. "Mama!!" cried Buttercup. The hunter raised another arrow toward the pup. "BUTTERCUP!!" cried a male voice, picking up the pup and running off, the arrow missing. "Papa!!" Ryne, ran as fast as he could with the cowd, but failing, he fell with a thud, dropping the wolf. He whimpered as the arrow suck into his rib cage. "Papa!!" cried Buttercup, tears falling, as he stood quickly.

Buttercup looked up as a bag was quickly thrown over him. "Let me out!! Let me out!!" he cried, struggling to be released. But it was useless, he was a small pup, the bag was strong, and his parents were gone. Buttercup sighed. He knew there was no point struggling now. He sat there in the bag, ears back, afraid of what was to come next. Where was the man taking him? He jumped slightly as his eyes grew wide to the sound of a loud roar. "Let's take this puppy home!" joked the man. Buttercup whimpered. They were moving. It was very bumpy. He was being thrown around in the bag, hitting many unfamiliar trees, allowing a loud cry escape his lips. "Shut up!" the man shouted.

Buttercup kept his mouth shut, even though he wanted to yelp in pain. All of a sudden, he felt as if he were moving through air. Before he knew it, he hit a hard rock, then another, then another. More and more rocks were hitting him as he was falling. When the rocks stopped hitting him he fell into a river. He couldn't breath. "Mama!" he cried, bubbles escaping his mouth. He scratched at the bag as much as he could to escape. "Help!!" he tried to yell. He swallowed a gulp of water. The blood rushed to his head. The rope, a voice called. claw at the rope!! Buttercup clawed at the rope as told. He hit rock bottom and the bag opened. He doggy paddled to the top. His head was above water, as he gasped for air. He heard a loud noice. As he looked behind him, his eyes grew wide. A waterfall. "Mama!!" he cried. He doggy paddled as fast as he could, but with not much sucess he was dragged back quickly by the waterfall and splashed into the river bend.
